Kate is thrilled to join the Outreach program.  She has worked with older adults for over 15 years, primarily in skilled nursing facilities.  She is excited for the opportunity to change things up and help older adults age in place. 

Kate has her BA in Sociology from Fairfield University and her MSS from Bryn Mawr.  After college, she volunteered full time with Mercy Volunteer Corps for two years.  Her second placement was working as a chaplain in a nursing facility and there, she discovered the joy of working with older adults.    

Kate looks forward to building relationships with the team at Outreach and its clients.  She also looks forward to the collaborative work of assisting people with maintaining independence at home.
